Inside the main menu you can choose to select test game, edit game, new game, load game, save game, delete game or exit Audio Game Maker. To navigate the main menu use keyLEFT, keyRIGHT, keySPACE and keyCTRL.
This option moves you to the edit game submenu which consists of the following options:
When you enter the audio environment you will exit the main menu.
If you choose to change the world settings you will have the option to select a world, create a new world, delete a world, change the world acoustics, change the world sound, change the world's mood sound or change the world's border settings.
If you choose to change the game settings you will have the option to change the game controls.
This option enables you to test what you've built so far. The Audio Game Maker will start the Audio Game Player which plays your own game.
Before your game is loaded the Audio Game Maker will check your game for major errors. If the system finds errors, you will get a warning which tells you about the problem.
Whenever you close the Audio Game Player you will return to the main menu of the Audio Game Maker.
This option lets you create a new blank game which contains 1 blank world. You must type the name of your new game and confirm it with Enter. This game name cannot be changed later. If you're already working on a game, first save it before you create a new game. Only one game can be edited at the same time.
This option lets you save the game that you are currently working on. The game will be stored inside the folder c://audioGameMaker/Games.
This option lets you load an existing game. Games that are stored in the folder c://audioGameMaker/Games can be loaded. If you're already working on a game, first save it before you load a game. Only one game can be edited at the same time.
This option lets you delete the game that you are currently working on. The game and it's folders and files will all be removed.
This option lets you exit the Audio Game Maker program. Remember to save your game first.
To navigate the main menu and also the building block menu's you must use keySPACE, keyCTRL, keyLEFT and keyRIGHT.
You can move trough selection items within a the menu by pressing keyLEFT and keyRIGHT. This will scroll your focus through the different selectable options. When you are at the first option and you press keyLEFT you will hear a buzz that indicates you are at the edge of the selection options and you must scroll the other way to hear other options. The same goes when you are at the end of the options.
To select an option you will need to press keySPACE. This will select the last heard option and move further into the menu or if you are at the end of the menu you will go back up to the main menu.
To cancel a menu item and take a step back up the menu you will need to press keyCTRL. This can also be done when a confirmation is asked fo a certain action like deleting a world.
